Considering a sailing adventure to Mexico? Just look at how engrossed that guy is in the book! Grab a copy of the Unauthorized Guide to Sailing in Mexico, and you too can find yourself sitting on a Mexican dock with an oversized (but very attractive) hat.

I might add next time is a set of synthetic cheap runescape gold long johns because the foul weather pants really don't have a lot of insulation value against cold fiberglass.

Good video. Wet wipes are the bomb. I've found my iPhone solves a lot of problems - backup GPS, backup chartplotter, MP3 player, even movies. I don't bring a portable VHF - if the owner doesn't have one aboard we buy one before leaving. I do bring a cooking thermometer -- I feed my crew well and the thermostats on boat ovens are poor at best.

Another one I've been eyeing more often is a leatherman. Had a problem where I *needed* a screwdriver and nothing would work but a screw driver. Really a drag.
