Snug Harbor Sails | This Moment

There are a lot of reasons why I love Eric. I love his taste in music, his hot body, and a lot of his zany ideas. I also love his eye for the camera. He took this photo on his camera phone.

It is just a brief moment in our day, but this is a photo I will treasure from our sailing travels together as a family. We had just stopped in to Snug Harbor Sails in La Paz to get a quote on a mainsail and Lyra wanted to nurse. I peeled her off of me, both of us wet with sweat from walking with the baby carrier, and sat down in the truly Mexican 'make-do' style seating (actual car seats) to feed her. Cora was telling me about a baby tiger. I didn't even realize Eric was taking this photo, but there it is, like those still life paintings of everyday scenes from the 17th century - a moment of our sailing life that I might have otherwise forgotten.

Excellent work, Eric, and gracias.

Love it - the picture tells the whole story. I also love hearing about your lives because your introspection is always just lovely.
